I had my makeup trial, which went fantastically. As someone who doesn’t wear much makeup, she explained what she was doing and listened to exactly what I wanted. On the wedding day, she was amazing—straight away, she fit right in, and her kind nature made everyone feel very comfortable. A few changes were made from the trial, which made all the difference. I felt incredible.
She also did makeup for three of my bridesmaids, who also don’t often wear makeup! Everyone was so happy, and all looked beautiful, with their makeup lasting the whole day! Thank you so much, Shanni! If you are thinking about booking, send her a message—you won’t regret it.

Where do I start. I couldn’t recommend Shanni enough, from enquiry through to the day communication is brilliant. I booked her last minute and she went above and beyond to fit me in for a trial and even helped with recommendations for hair. She was at my venue setting up before I got there and nothing was too much trouble. So responsive to messages which really helps when you’re a stressed bride to be. She even captured a special moment between me and my mum and one of my bridesmaids which I am forever grateful for. All of our makeup lasted all day and all night and she did a great job doing different looks for all of us. Nothing was too much trouble and she’s so friendly too. I was lucky to book in a bridal trial with Shanni last minute due to a bridal trial with another MUA which did not turn out to my liking. Shanni was professional all the way through from the trial and knowing directly which foundation would be best for me to the point that she is a perfect listener. It comes all down to paying attention what the bride expects from the MUA. The trial was a dream, but the wedding day makeup was just from another world. She even has managed to exceed my expectations from the trial and my wedding makeup was just more than perfect. I loved all the pink shades and she just nailed it. Everybody complimented me on my beautiful makeup making me feel like a princess. Best of it, it stayed on the whole day and night and I did not want to wash it off. If you’re looking for a professional makeup artist, who’s listening to what you want and someone who uses just the best products and understands the brides needs, then look no further. I am still absolutely over the moon and would recommend Shanni to anybody. Absolutely 5 star worth!

From the moment I was recommended shanni to even after the wedding when she messaged me asking if I had an amazing day she was spot on! She is soooo lovely, nothing was a problem for her even with 5 peoples makeup to do from 6am on Easter Sunday! She makes you feel so relaxed knows what you want without even asking, for someone who don't wear makeup often and thought id look silly made me feel sooo good from start to finish! Felt like her friend more than just a client! I would recommend over and over again and will be definitely using her over and over again for anything I need my makeup being done for!
